From tradition to transformation: a new vision for adult learning

The inaugural edition explores how adult learning can be re-envisioned to bridge education and industry, strengthen learning infrastructures, and cultivate intergenerational learning.

By foregrounding human-centred approaches to technology and AI as part of a broader agenda for transformation, it includes focused inquiry into:

 

  • How adults learn from cognitive, socio-emotional, and sociocultural perspectives
  • The factors that enable or hinder learning
  • The motivations that drive learning in different phases of adult life
  • Rethinking learning design and ecosystem transformation
